We have been working hard behind the scenes to provide an overview of what the credit union has achieved, and how we have continued to help our members.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • We rebranded from Lanarkshire to Thistle Credit Union
  • 5,800 members are using our mobile banking app
  • We introduced the Jagpot Lottery
  • In the last 10 years members have borrowed over £44,000,000
  • 1 in 5 adults in the UK have less than £100 in savings. At Thistle CU the average savings held are £1,690
  • We partnered with Merry-Go-Round, to help provide parents experiencing hardship with essential goods for their children
